SOUTH BEND - Susan A. Jozwiak, 74, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2014 in Cardinal Health Care Facility, after a courageous battle against Dementia. Susan was born July 9, 1939 in South Bend, Indiana to John Wamser, Sr. and Agnes (Tschida) Wamser. She had been employed as a dedicated office worker with Dick Seago Accounting, Young and Nurkowski, Dave Talboom Lawncare and Landscaping, Inc. and the Warren Township Trustee's office. Susan spent most of her time raising her children and grandchildren. She spent numerous hours and energy transporting her children to and from various sporting activities. Susan's hobbies were gardening, reading, doing puzzles, cooking, and baking holiday cookies. She loved playing Bridge with her Bridge Club. Susan loved her pets Max, Gucci, Cinder, Cubby, and Abner. In her retirement years Susan enjoyed helping others in their time of need and enjoying her grandchildren. Susan was a member of Holy Family Church and a devoted Catholic. Susan married Thomas J. Jozwiak, May 2, 1959, who preceded her in death on August 30, 1996. Her parents and sister, Corine, also preceded her in death. Susan is survived by her children, Mike T. Jozwiak (fiancÂ©be, Jennifer Campbell), Robert M. Jozwiak, David R. Jozwiak (wife Monica), and Cindy Fisher (husband Darrin); grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Grace and Alexis Jozwiak; stepgrandchildren, Brian Gum (fiancÂ©be, Liz McDonald), Maddison and Cullen Fisher; great-grandchild, Carly Schafer; brother, John Wamser, Jr.; sister, Silvia Cooper (husband Mel); sister-in-law, Mary Grochowalski (husband Bob); and by several loving nieces and nephews. A Catholic Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 24, 2014 in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
