MISHAWAKA, IN - Margaret LaVerne Wrobel, 95, of Mishawaka, passed away Monday, January 28, 2019, at Heritage Point Assisted Living. Margaret was born January 15, 1924 in South Bend to the late Anna (Reichanadter) and Paul Gabor. On December 27, 1947 in South Bend, Margaret (Gabor) married Edward Frank Wrobel, who passed away June 11, 1976. She was also preceded in death by her brother, George (Dorothy) Gabor, and her daughter-in-law, Cheryl Wrobel. Margaret is survived by her daughter, Nancy (Frank) Trimboli of Elkhart, and son, James Wrobel of South Bend; and four step-grandchildren, Matt Ciesielski, Sean Ciesielski, Emily (Josh) Hensley, and Nathan Trimboli. Margaret had worked at Syscon International and Bendix Corporation. She was a member of New Apostolic Church, South Bend, where she sang alto in the church choir. Margaret enjoyed gardening and watching Notre Dame football, but especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. The family would like to extend a special “Thank You” to all the staff at Heritage Point and Harbor Light Hospice for all their love and care. Funeral Services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Monday, February 4, at New Apostolic Church, with Rev. Kerry Hab officiating. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service in church. In lieu of flowers, memorials contributions may be made to New Apostolic Church, 5602 Ironwood Road, South Bend, IN 46614, or Harbor Light Hospice, 1820 E. Day Road, Mishawaka, IN 46545.
