South Bend Trib: March 6, 1937

The funeral of Mrs Maryanne Kalicki age 88 who died suddenly at 930 am Friday morning in the homeof her son John Was 1207 West Napier Ave willtake place Monday morning fron St Hedwig Church with Rev. Francis Luzny pastor chanting the requiem high mass. Burialwill follow at St. Josephs Catholic Cemetery. The body may be viewed in the residence at 1207 Thomas street.

Mrs Kalicka was born in Panigrodz, Wagrowiec, Poland Feb. 22, 1849 and cameto South Bend fromthat country 70 years ago. Surving are a son John Was; a step-son Martin Wotjysiak of South Bend; four sisters Sister Mary Rita of Chicago, Mrs Stanley Kalamaja of Denver, CO, ; Mrs Mary Putz of South Bend ans Mrs Annette Logan of Kentucky. Three sisters Mrs. Frances Rzepka of Terre Coupee, IN, Mrs Rose Urbanski and Mrs Mary Paczesny of South Bend. 24 grand children and 30 great grandchildren.
