GRANGER - Richard J. Wesolowski, 65, residing in Granger, IN, passed away at 1:30 AM Friday, August 26, 2011 in his home. Richard was President of Able Engineering, Inc. until his retirement in 2001. Richard was born on August 19, 1946 in South Bend, IN to Ed and Emma (VanDeGenahte) Wesolowski and remained a lifelong resident. On November 26, 1966 in South Bend, IN he married Peggy (Black) Wesolowski, who survives. Richard is survived by his loving wife, Peggy; daughter and son-in-law, Tracy and Ronald Rosenfeld of Lake Zurich, IL; two grandchildren, Emily Rosenfeld and Jack Rosenfeld; a granddaughter, soon to be born; and brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Betty Wesolowski of South Bend. Also surviving are a host of family and friends, who graciously provided care and compassion to Richard. There will be no services or visitation at this time. Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, South Bend, is assisting the family with arrangements. He is survived by wife, Peggy; daughter, Tracy (Ronald) Rosenfeld of Lake Zurich, IL; 2 grandchildren, and a granddaughter soon to be born; and brother, Donald (Betty) Wesolowski of South Bend.
