BREMEN - Anna M. Ryon, 87, passed away at 4:40 a.m. on Saturday, December 20, 2008, in the Bremen Health Care Center. Anna was born on November 18, 1921, in Vincennes, IN, to the late Charles C. and Margaret (Dattilo) Panzica. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Wayne Douglass, who she married on October 11, 1947, and
by their daughter, Lynne A. Douglass, who passed away in 2005. On April 7, 1973, Anna married Charles A. Ryon, who survives along with stepdaughters, Sue Ryon (Rick Horowitz) of Shorewood, WI, and Beth Ryon of Grosse Pointe Park, MI; grandchildren, Megan Browne (Dennis) Geott of Mt. Kisco, NY, and Erica Ryon Browne (Jesse Chehak) of Santa Fe, NM; brothers, Anthony (Irene) Panzica and Joseph (Sandra) Panzica, both of South Bend; sisters, Rose (Joseph) Cira and Lena Panzica, both of South Bend; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Anna worked as a teller at the St. Joseph Bank on Miami Street where
her dazzling smile and great sense of humor made her a customer favorite. Her greatest joy was her daughter, Lynne. She loved her dearly and took great pride in her educational achievements, particularly her Ph.D. in sociology from Notre Dame. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 23, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 1827 E. Ireland Road. Mass of Christian Burial will be
celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 23, in the Cathedral of St. Matthew. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. For those who are unable
