OSCEOLA - Gertrude "Trudy" Shriver Delinski, 92, of Osceola, IN, passed away at 12:45 a.m. Monday, May 18, 2015, at her daughter's home. She was born on March 19, 1923, in South Bend, to the late Stanley & Irene (Sobczak) Kajzer. Trudy is survived by two children, David (Kathy) Poznanski of South Bend, IN and Debbie (Bill) Talcott of Osceola, IN; two grandchildren, Kim Poznanski and Troy Poznanski; two great-grandchildren, Alyssa Poznanski and Cameron Poznanski; several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Ethel Gotonka of South Bend, IN, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Ken Poznanski, and three brothers, Leo Gotonka, Harry and Irvin Kajzer. Trudy was a lifelong resident. She retired from the Portage Township Trustee's office where she worked as an administrator. She spent fifty years in civil service working with the South Bend Police Department and License Bureau. Visitation will be from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 22, 2015, with Mass at 2:00 p.m. at St. Jude Catholic Church, 19704 Johnson Road, South Bend, IN. Graveside services and burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend. Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
