SOUTH BEND - Mary Grabowski, 82, passed away in her residence.
Mary was born on July 13, 1930 in South Bend to Joseph and Jonna (Jankowski) Plonski. On July 26, 1950 in South Bend she married Joseph Grabowski; he preceded her in death in 2002. Survivors include Mary's great nephew, Joseph Jablonski of Buchanan; and friends, Gloria Jablonski and Rita King, both of South Bend. Mary was a parishioner of St. Adalbert's Catholic Church. She collected porcelain dolls, and enjoyed playing the piano and organ, gardening, flowers and sewing. Mary was a friend to many; she was a giving person and was always willing to donate to those in need. Visitation for Mary will be 9:00 am to 11:00 am, Monday, April 22, 2013 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. where a Funeral Service will be celebrated at 11:00 am Monday, April 22, 2013. Condolences may be made at www.sjfh.net
