SOUTH BEND - South Bend - Stella (Witucki) Langston, 80, passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 in her home surrounded by her loving family. Stella was born October 18, 1936 in South Bend, to the late Stanley and Lottie (Klodzinski) Witucki. On March 28, 1959, Stella married Larry Langston, he preceded her in death on May 13, 2015. Stella was also preceded in death by her brothers, Edward & Casimir Witucki; and sisters, Rita Shuamber, Toni Witucki, Bernice Lind, Rosalie Tindall and Gertrude Kopinski.
Survivors of Stella include her children, Larry (Kim) Langston, Jr. of Colorado Springs, CO, Sandra (Brian) Lutz of Aurora, IL and Linda Langston of South Bend; Grandchildren, Christopher, Jeremy, Robert Jr., Bailey; Great- grandchildren, Hailey and Riley; brother, John (Barbara) Witucki ; sister-in-law, Jennie Witucki; and several nieces and nephews. Stella retired in 1994 from Indiana Bell where she was a telephone operator for 38 years. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, reading and watching westerns. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family. Special thanks to Heartland Hospice and Compassionate Caregivers for their care and compassion. Visitation for Stella will be 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, Monday, June 19, 2017 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 1827 E. Ireland Rd. with a Funeral Ceremony to begin at 12:00 pm. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to donor's choice. Condolences for the family may be made at www.sjfh.net.
