SOUTH BEND - Renee Rose Stopczynski, 50, passed away at home with her family by her side on Friday, April 14, 2017. Renee was born October 9, 1966 in Milwaukee , WI to Carl and Karen (Hoffmann) Boehlke. Her father preceded her in death. On March 21, 1997 in South Bend, Renee married her loving husband, Ronald Stopczynski. He survives along with their children, Kyle (Amber) Stopczynski, Thomas (Susie) Stopczynski, Zachary Stopczynski, Sarah Stopczynski and Janey Stopczynski; mother, Karen Boehlke; brothers, Brent (Erica) Boehlke and Craig (Rebecca) Boehlke; brothers-in-law, David (Lisa) Stopczynski and Ken Stopczynski and father-in-law, Stanley Stopczynski. Renee was a Parishioner of St. John the Baptist Church. She enjoyed baking, gardening, sewing, making quilts, running 5k's, and watching her children's sporting events. She was a very loving mother and wife. Renee will be greatly missed by her family and friends, especially her baking and cooking during the holidays. She will always be remembered and loved. Renee wanted to extend her thanks to her sister-in-law, Lisa Stopczynski for all of her encouragement and sharing of her grandchildren during her 3 1/2 year battle with Cancer. She would also like to thank her friends at Gyna Girls, LiveStrong, MHO and Riverbend Cancer Services for their support. Visitation for Renee will be 3:30 pm to 7:00 pm, beginning with a Rosary at 3:30 pm, Tuesday, April 18, 2017 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am, Wednesday, April 19, 2017 in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
