South Bend - Richard E. Splawski, 76, passed away on Saturday. Richard was born December 8, 1944 in South Bend to the late Edward and Esther (Demski) Splawski. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Linda Hernandez. Left to cherish Richard’s memory are his brother, David Splawski, Uncle, Raymond Demski, close friend, Jack Ulrich, nieces, a nephew, and many cousins. Richard honorably served his country in the United States Army. He worked for Underground Pipe & Valve, and South Bend Supply Company. Richard enjoyed spending time at the beach and going to the Goodwill to see what treasures he could find. Per Richard’s wishes, no public services will be held. St. Joseph Funeral Home is assisting the family. Condolences may be made at www.sjfh.net.
