TYNER - Rose Ann Pinkowski, 75, of Tyner, IN, passed away Saturday, May 21st, 6:32 p.m., at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Plymouth, IN after a sudden illness. Mrs. Pinkowski was born on December 8, 1935 in Granger, IN and resided in the Tyner area for several years. On September 3, 1955, as Rose Ann Elli, she married Robert S. Piknowski, Sr. who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Thomas Michael Pinkowski of Kentucky, and Robert Stanley Pinkowski, Jr. of Tyner, IN. Two sisters, Tiny and Delores, both of Elkhart, IN. Also, four grandchildren and one great grandchild. Rose Ann was a homemaker who loved her family dearly as they did her. She will be dearly missed by her loving family and all who knew this wonderful lady. Mrs. Pinkowski was preceded in death by a daughter; Toni Marie Maher and her parents; Casmir and Rose (Horvath) Elli. No farewell words were spoken, no time to say good-bye, you were gone before we knew it, and only God knows why. Rose Ann's wishes were to be cremated and remembered in life. Her family honored those wishes. Friends may visit with the family from 2 - 4 p.m. Sunday, May 29th in HANLEY & Sons Funeral Home "Walkerton Chapel" located at 1216 Roosevelt Road, Walkerton, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to defray the medical cost. The HANLEY & Sons Funeral Home handled arrangements and services and extend its deepest sympathy and heartfelt prayers to the Pinkowski family.
