Granger-Kristine A. DeLee, 37, passed away at home on Tuesday, February 7, 2012. Kristine was born on January 14, 1975 in South Bend to Richard and Mary Ann (Conner) Dentino. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lydia and Angelo Dentino and grandfather, Robert Conner. On July 30, 2005 in First Presbyterian Church, Mishawaka, she married Matthew DeLee. Surviving are her loving husband, Matt; her parents, Richard and Mary Ann Dentino of South Bend; sisters, Angela (Greg) Bellinger and Jennifer Dentino both of South Bend; grandmother, Betty Conner; two nieces, Giavanna Bellinger and Abbie DeLee; a nephew, Jared DeLee; her in-laws, Alan and Diann DeLee of St. John's, FL, brother-in-law, Chris (Janice) DeLee of LaPorte, IN; five aunts and uncles and 14 cousins. Also surviving are her longtime friends, Yoko and Fumiko Taniguchi and Kelly Farkas. Kristine graduated from John Adams High School in South Bend in 1993. She attended Alma College and graduated from IUSB with a Teaching Degree in Elementary Education. She was a caring teacher for the South Bend Community School Corp. For the past seven years she was teaching 1st grade at Coquillard Primary Center. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church where she was baptized. Also a member of Gamma Phi Beta, and former member of John Adams Marching Band, John Adams Cross Country Team, the Camp Fire Girls and the 4-H Club. Kristine loved to travel having been to Japan, Mexico and Australia; she also enjoyed camping and being with her dog, Kaylee Family and friends may visit from 3 to 7 p.m. on Friday, February 10th in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior in church, on Saturday, February 11th in First Presbyterian Church, Mishawaka with Rev. Mary Ann Banning and Rev. Janet Van Lear officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.
