OSCEOLA - Ernest J. Kish, Jr., age 84, of Osceola passed away on November 2, 2017 at 1:45 PM. He was born July 11, 1933 to Ernest J. Sr. and Mary C. (Holowaty) Kish in South Bend, Indiana. On September 29, 1953, Ernie married Yvonne Suth. She survives. Mr. Kish served his country honorably in the United States Army and then worked for and retired from Hoosier Spring Company after 43 years. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Parish in Mishawaka. Ernie is survived by his wife of 64 years, Yvonne; his children, Ernie, Jon, Tim, Stephen, Pam, Becky, and Beth, 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. A funeral service in Ernie's honor will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at 2 PM with calling one hour prior at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Drive, Osceola, IN 46561. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Parish, 225 South Mill Street, Mishawaka, IN 46544. The family would like to thank the staff at Riverside Terrace and Heart to Heart Hospice for the loving and compassionate care they provided to Ernie.
