SOUTH BEND - Rosa Kolecki, 89, of Butler, PA, died Saturday afternoon, September 21, 2013, at Under our Wing, at the Butler Y.W.C.A. Born March 13, 1924 in South Bend, Indiana, she was a daughter of the late Steven Horvath and Mary (Hayden) Horvath. She moved to Butler in 1976 from Jackson, Michigan. Rosa was a homemaker, had formerly owned the Zodiak Gift Shop on Main Street in Butler, was a lifetime member of the Tanglewood Senior Center and the Plus Sixty Club, and had enjoyed painting, crafts and playing cards. Surviving are her 2 daughters, Mrs. Margo Byrns of Butler and Mrs. Dennis (Deborah) Engers of Florida; 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 sisters. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2013, at 10:30 a.m., the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham Street, Butler.
