Thank you for the information on Peter and Anna. I only knew that they had 3 children together but I did not know what happened to them. This is what I know about Peter. Per family lore, he was the hired hand on the farm of Anna and Joseph Polus. Joseph committed suicide on July 17, 1899. Peter
would have been 22 at that time. Joseph left Anna with 10 or 11 children. A year later Peter and Anna married, she was 13 years his senior.
They had a long life together and per my father he took very good care of her before she died. Per death cert. she died of cardiac failure
and was senile at the time. Peter died at a private home in Berlin that was set up to take a few elderly people in. My mother and I would visit him there. I would have been in grade school/high school at that time. I think my Mother either liked him or felt sorry for him at the home, she was not related to him but would have known him since 1947 when my parents met. I do not remember him. My mother is still alive and well so if you have any questions
about him I can ask her. I have attached a picture, I am not sure which man is Peter.
