Peter F. Wieczorek, aged 54, of 738 South Camden street, died in St. Joseph Hospital at 6:45 P.M. Friday after a heart attack which occurred as he was
leaving his home. The body was taken to St. Joseph Funeral Home. Mr. Wieczorek was found by police lying in the grass at the corner of Western
Avenue and Liberty Street. He was pronounced dead by Dr. Robert L. Braunsdorf, deputy coroner. Mr. Wieczorek was born in Garrett, Ind. June 14, 1888 and came to South Bend from there 50 years ago. Surviving is his widow Mary; three daughters, Mrs. Walter Zalewski, Mrs. Valentine Wroblewski and Miss Irene Wieczorek; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Paczkowski, Mrs. Magdalene Pietrzak and Mrs. Frances Sieradzka; a brother Roman Wieczorek; two stepbrothers Valentine and Anthony Wieczorek and three grandchildren. Friends will be received in the home Sunday.
