==============

On June 2, 1903, Janos Tulok, 33, Anna Tulok, 29, and Janos Tulok, 6, arrived at the port of New York aboard the S. S. Bremen. They had come from Hungary and were on their way to South Bend. (Passenger list.)

John and Anna Tulok had two more children in Indiana: Joseph, born in 1904, who died in 1905, and Anna born in 1906. (Records of St. Stephen's Catholic Church, South Bend, Indiana, as transcribed by Chris Kovach in "Hungarian Immigrant Collection" on St. Joseph Co. INGenWeb; and WPA birth and death indexes for Indiana)

South Bend News Times, Mon., Sep. 7, 1914, p. 5:
"John Tulok, 721 W. Ford st., 43 years old, died at his residence yesterday morning after a lingering illness of tuberculosis. He is survived by a wife and two children. Funeral services will be held this morning from St. Stephen's church, Father Varlaky officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery."

His date and place of death also are given in his Indiana death certificate for which his wife, Anna, was the informant. She reported that he was a laborer. It was her understanding that he was 43 and had been born in Hungary to Steven Tulok.

On Apr. 26, 1919, Anna Tulok, neƩ Jagadics, age 42, widow, from Csapod, daughter of Michael & Anna Bella Jagadics, married Ignacz Nemeth, 33, from Szany, son of Peter & Agnes Horvath Nemeth. The marriage applications they filed with the county indicate that Anna was born Nov. 11, 1878 in Hungary, that her mother's maiden name was Blarvsics (sic?), and that it was Anna's second marriage, her first having ended by death in 1914; Ignacz was born May 12, 1886 in Hungary, and it was his first marriage.

Daughter Anna Tulok married Leslie Dudik in 1936. When they died, Anna and Leslie were interred in the same lot as her father.
