Special thanks to Stephanie and Kim of Hospice, Darlene Jellison and Mary Railing for the excellent care and love provided to Felicia. Felicia was a 73-year member of the Polish Women's Alliance and worked at Notre Dame for nine years at the Huddle, at Ball Band and the Century Center. Affectionately known as "Busia" for the last 40 years, Felicia's greatest joy was being a wife, mother and grandmother to the family. She prayed the Rosary many times during the day for each of her children and grandchildren. Felicia had a special devotion to St. Jude, St. Anthony and the Sacred Heart of Jesus. She was a member of St. Casimir Parish and later Little Flower Parish for all of 90 years. She also had many close friends and she loved them and they loved her dearly in many special ways. Felicia enjoyed cooking for people and no one ever left her home without being offered something good to eat. Her house was the gathering place for all family and friends. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 5 to 8 p.m. today, Oct. 7th, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, where a Rosary will be prayed at 6:30 p.m. Family and friends will meet at Little Flower Catholic Church at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 8th, for a Mass of Christian Burial, with visitation one hour prior in the church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend. Memorial contributions may be made to Little Flower Catholic Church or to the Center for Hospice and Palliative Care, 111 Sunnybrook Court, South Bend, IN 46637.
