Age 83, our loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother passed away December 11, 2015. She was born June 22, 1932 in South Bend, IN. She was a long time member of St. Gerard Church and member of the former Mother of Joy Circle; a member of the VFW 701 Ladies Auxiliary; and she enjoyed playing Bingo. She was married to her husband, Mike, for 58 years. She is survived by her husband; 3 daughters, Catherine (Daniel) Demlow, Diane Nussbaum, Laurie (Harley) Eskew; son, Michael, 3 grandchildren, Sara (Kenneth) Melder, Gregory Nussbaum, Michelle (Anthony) Beck; 2 great-grandchildren, Aubrey Melder, Owen Melder; brother, Leonard (Clara) Niemier; and sister, Emily "Cheech" Cichowicz. Funeral Mass is 10:30 AM Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at St. Gerard Catholic Church, 4437 W. Willow, Lansing with Fr. John P. Klein presiding. Visitation will be Tuesday 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM with a 7 PM Rosary at the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw Street, and one hour prior to the service at the church.
