NILES - David G. Stone, 72, of Niles, passed away on Monday, October 17, 2016, in Buchanan with his family by his side. Dave was born on May 8, 1944, in Chicago, IL. He graduated from Brandywine High School's first class in 1963. On February 8th, 1964, he married Judy Probst. Dave retired from Clark Equipment Company. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He told great stories and always said, “Never let the truth interfere with a good story”. Dave is survived by his wife of 52 years, Judy; children, Penny (Frank) Zelasko, Susie (Donald) Munday and Shannon Stone; grandchildren, Rachelle Marshman, Jennifer Marshman, Andrew Munday, Sarah Munday, Scott Stone, Brianna Stone and Alexis Stone; step-grandchildren, Nicki (Marc) Danapilis and Shane Zelasko and sister, Charel (Bob) Anderson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Cordelia McKamey; brother, Wayne McKamey and sisters, Mary Bosse and Barb Flemming. Visitation for Dave will be held from 5-7 pm on Wednesday, October 19, 2016, at Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan. Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Thursday, October 20, 2016, also at Hoven Funeral Home with Dr. Ted Bryant, Pastor of Family Ministry of Granger Community Church officiating.
