Slott, 89, an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II; beloved husband of 67 years of Lorraine nee Liszewski; loving father of Donn, Susan (Craig) Casino, John, Richard (Barbara), Dennis (Maureen) and the late Michael (Jean); devoted grandfather of Jason, Amy, Jennifer, Carrie, Kelley, Meaghan, Dominic, Jessica, Jacob, Erik, Ryan, Kyle, Meredith, Thomas and William; great-grandfather of Gianna, Vincent, Dane, Lilliana, Grant, Benjamin and Nathan; fond brother of John (Mary), Maryann (the late Wayne) Vanderwall and the late Daniel. Visitation Friday 3-8 pm at Williams-Kampp Funeral Home, 430 E. Roosevelt Rd., Wheaton, IL (one block east of Naperville Rd). Funeral Mass Saturday 10 am at St. Michael Church, Wheaton. Michael Thomas Slott, 65 years, of Oswego, IL died Sunday, May 5, 2013 at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL. He was born April 9, 1948 the son of Thomas R and Lorraine E nee Liszewski Slott. Mike attended the University of Notre Dame and Northern Illinois University attaining a B.S. in finance. He was the owner/manufacturer representative for Jay Berwanger Inc. of Downers Grove, IL for 30 years. Mike is survived by his wife of 39 years Jean E nee Olson Slott, daughter Amy Slott of Oswego, IL, son Jason Slott of Plainfield, IL, sister Susan (Craig) Casino of Winfield, IL, four brothers Donn Slott of St. Charles, IL, John Slott of Triumph, IL, Richard Slott of Louisburg, KS, Dennis (Maureen) Slott of North Barrington, IL, many nieces and nephews. A gathering of family/friends will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at the Dunn Family Funeral Home with Crematory, 1801 Douglas Road, Oswego, IL from 10:00 AM until the funeral service at 1:00 PM. Cremation was accorded the wish of the family. Memorials may be directed to either Alzheimer's Association National Office, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl 17, Chicago, IL 60601, Ann & Robert H.
