Ida Knebel
Mrs. William Knebel, aged 82, of 115 East Fairview avenue, died at 6:30 p.m. Saturday in Memorial Hospital after an illness of two years. She was born Aug. 14, 1887, in Germany and came here 26 years ago. In 1911 in Germany, she was married to William Knebel who survives. Other survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Irma Eichhorst; two sons, Paul and Delbert, and two grandchildren, all of South Bend, two brothers and one sister in Germany. Friends may call in the Hay funeral home after 5 p.m. Sunday until noon Tuesday when her body will be taken to New Apostolic church to lie until services there at 2 p.m. Rev. Fred W. Busse, of the church will officiate, assisted by Elder Leo Stebner, also of the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park.
