Paul D. Hudak, 54, of Willow Creek Drive, passed away after an illness at 6:54 p.m. on Sunday July 12, in St. Joseph's Medical Center.Mr. Hudak was born on November 13, 1943 in South Bend, IN to Thaddeus and Sophie Hudak who both preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Irvin, Leonard and Robert. On May 28, 1977, in South Bend, he married Sharon Chevrie who survives along with their son Craig, at home. He also had three children from his previous marriage to Yvonne Kovatch: Cheryl (Ramiro) Garza of South Bend, David (Marsha) Hudak of Granger IN and Jeffrey Hudak of South Bend. Six grandchildren Amy Conwell, Erik Hudak, Ramiro Garza, Jr. Ashley Garza, Kayla Garza and Candace Garza and numerous beloved nieces, nephews and cousins. Paul will be missed by his brothers-in-law and sister-in-law; Wayne (Barb) Chevrie, Larry (Vicki) Chevrie, Tim (Rita) Chevrie, Irene Hudak and Diana Imbordino; and by his mother-in-law Elsie Chevrie. Mr Hudak was employed by Mastic's and Uniroyal. He also was an avid bowler who participated in the Pepsi 990 Classic League. Services will be conducted at 10 am on Thursday, July 16, in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 South Kemble Avenue. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 pm today in the funeral home, where a Rosary will be recited at 4 P.M.
