Mrs. Hazel B. Gilpin, aged 29, of rural route No. 2, Edison road died in her home at 3 o'clock this morning after two years' illness. She was born in Chrisman, Ill., March 17, 1908, and came here from that city nine years ago. She was married in August, 1922 in Paris, Ill., to Anthony J. Gilpin, who survives her. She leaves also a daughter, Ariva; two sons, James and Donald, all at home; two sisters, Mrs. Edmur Suran and Mrs. William Cox, both of South Bend, and a brother, Isaac Dunn of Chrisman. The funeral will take place at 2 o'clock, standard time, Wednesday afternoon in the L.H. Orvis chapel. Rev. George Dunham, of the Willow Creek Methodist Episcopal church will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant cemetery.
