Osceola - William "Bill" J. Muinch, 84, passed away on Thursday, November 21 in Hospice House, South Bend. Bill was born on December 25, 1928 in Mishawaka to Bernard O. and Laura (Bidlack) Muinch. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister; a brother; and a son-in-law, Sal Sanchez on November 6, 2013. On June 4, 1955 in LaPorte, he married Margaret Eileen Hart. Surviving are his wife, Margaret; four children, Mark Muinch of South Bend, Laura Sanchez of Mishawaka, Patrick (Lori) Muinch of Lansing, MI and Michele (Ted) Kottcamp of Georgetown, MA and four grandchildren, William and Joseph Sanchez and Lauren and Ryan Kottcamp.Bill worked for the City of Mishawaka for 35 years as a Civil Engineer retiring in 1987 then went to work for J.C. Penney retiring in 1997. He was a member of St. Pius X and a loving caring family man. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, November 25 at 10 a.m., with visitation one hour prior, in St. Pius X in Granger with Monsignor William Schooler officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice Foundation, 4220 Edison Lakes Pkwy Ste 200, Mishawaka, IN 46545-1440.
