Passed away November 15, 2005. John Gallos was employed by WCCO television 46 years. John did the weather as a fill in and played as Commodore Cappy and loved by children for his Clancy the Cop show. He also produced the"Laurel and hardy Shows shown on WCCO and "Sunday Morning with John Gallos," He received the excellence in reporting award for the area of Minnesota he covered. He also was received the Silver Angel Award. Many Children knew him as the "children's weather" man as it was he who reported the no "school snow days".
