SOUTH BEND - Paul W. Hochstetler, 75, of South Bend, IN passed away at 1:50 a.m. Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Hospice House, Elkhart, IN. He was born on May 5, 1942 in Arthur, IL to the late William Y. and Elizabeth (Kaufman) Hochstetler. On August 30, 1964 in Bremen, IN, he was united in marriage to the former Helen L. Sienicki. Paul is survived by his wife, Helen Hochstetler; son, Blake E. Hochstetler of South Bend, IN; two grandchildren, Paul (Kajsa Sandstorm) Hochstetler and Emma (Zach Bevis) Hochstetler; great grandchild, Lia Bevis; brothers, Charles (Leann) Hochstetler of Roeland Park, KS and Roger E. (Sydney) Hochstetler of St. Louis, MO, Dave (Linda) Sienicki of Ely, MN, Dennis (Kelly) Sienicki of Middlebury, IN, Tim (Carol) Sienicki of South Bend, IN; sister, Dorothy (Dennis) DeKeizer of Mishawaka, IN; nieces, Deanne, Janice, Sandra, Shelly (Ryan), Katie (Tim), Jessica and nephews, Joel (Staci) and Casey (Angela). Paul lived most of his live in the local area. He earned his Bachelor's Degree from Bluffton College. He worked as a program analyst for Lock Joint Tube in South Bend, retiring in 2010. Paul was a member of South Bend JayCees, Boy Scout master, coach for Southeast Little League and was a usher at Notre Dame. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 20, 2017 at Palmer Funeral Home, 601 N. Michigan St., Lakeville, IN. Graveside services and burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend. Friends may visit with the family from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Contributions in memory of Paul W.
