Rose M. CLAY, 101, formerly of 719 Madison St., died at 1 a.m today at Life Care Center of Rochester.
She was born in Logansport to Peter and Emily THOMA WASOSKI. In July, 1916, at South Bend, she married Edgar CLAY, who died in July, 1967. She was a retired employee of the former Karn Coffee Shop, Rochester, and a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church. Survivors are one daughter, Marjorie NIXON, Rochester; one son, Herbert W. CLAY Sr., Phoenix, Ariz.; six grandchildren; fourteen great-gradchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren Preceding in death were one great-grandson, Patrick WALTERS; five brothers and three sisters.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m Saturday at the Rochester I.O.O.F. Cemetery, with the Rev. Donald BRENNEMAN officiating. There will be no visitation. Zimmerman Family Funeral Home, Rochester, is in charge of the arrangements.
