SOUTH BEND - Edwin J. Stuglik, 89, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Center for Hospice Care. Ed was born on November 15, 1926 in South Bend, IN to John and Frances (Dziedzic) Stuglik. He retired from Kreamo Bakery and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, fishing, gardening, playing card games, and traveling. On May 19, 1956, at St. Monica Catholic Church, he married the former Mary Bobinecz who survives, along with two sons, Mark (Brenda) Stuglik of Wellington, FL and Brian (Jan) Stuglik of Marco Island, FL; and a daughter, Karen (Gino) Villarias of Brownsburg, IN; seven grandchildren, Jessica, Beth, Michael, Kelly, Austin, Abigail, and Marina; and a great-grandchild, Harper. Ed was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Alice and Florence; and three brothers, William, Pete, and Harry.
A Mass will be celebrated at 11:00am Saturday, June 18, 2016 at St. Jude Catholic Church. A private burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Family and friends may call beginning at 10:00am at the church until services. Zahoran Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
