Frank J. Klekowski, age 90, entered into eternal life Aug. 24, 2005, of Chicago and Niles, MI, loving husband for 57 years of the late Bernice, nee Cieslinski; cherished father of Sandy, Frank and James; fond grandfather of Gina and Jennifer; preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Stella, nee Skrzypinski; brother, Stanley (Irene); and sisters, Charlotte (Anthony) Madajczyk and Irene (Frank) Przekwas; treasured brother of Norbert (Betty), Dolores (Armando) Ganz and Lorraine (the late Frank) Sinkuler; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation Friday, Aug. 26 at Sadowski Funeral Home, 13300 S. Houston, Hegewisch, from 2 til 9 p.m. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial Saturday 10 a.m. at St. Florian Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Served in the 328th AAF U.S. Army Corps of Engineers during WWII, stationed in the Philippines. Lifelong concertina player, past member of the South Shore Model Railroaders Assn., retired member of Local 1033 Steelworkers Union, avid traveler thanks to his wife, Bernice.
