[N24694] Carl's father, Karoly Baranyai, was born 1 Nov 1875 in Repczeszemere, Hungary, the son of Istvan Baranyai and Katalin Kranicz. He married Maria Dezso in Hungary sometime before 1898. She died in 1911(according to his later marriage application; don't know where). On 15 May 1920, in South Bend, Karoly married Elizabeth Hernitz, the widow of George Dezomics. Karoly died in South Bend 6 Mar 1938 and is buried at Cedar Grove. Elizabeth was born 12 Apr 1889 in Nagy-Lozs, Sopron County, Hungary, the daughter of Janos Hernitz and Erzsebet
