Kathleen Gay (Kronewitter) Jannasch, 78, of South Bend passed away at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 14th at the Golden Living Center in Mishawaka after a short illness. Kathy was born January 15, 1943 in Phoenix, Arizona where her parents resided while her father was stationed at Luke Air Force Base. She was a lifetime area resident and attended Riley High School. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Lynn; and son, Richard “Rick”. Surviving are her brother, Joe Kronewitter (Pam) of Prescott Valley, Arizona; nephew, Jeff (Regi) Kronewitter of Bossier City, Louisiana; niece, Julie (Brian) Blanchard of Hereford, Arizona; and her dear friend, Dale, who visited her often. For most of her working career Kathy was a bookkeeper and after retirement she was a bartender at the Knights of Columbus in Mishawaka.
