Carol A. Pfeiffer, 66, of South Bend passed away on Saturday, September 4, 2021. She was born July 26, 1955 in Amityville, NY to the late Clarence O. and Phyllis (Pierce) Pfeiffer. Carol is survived by her son, Cole (Kim) Latowski of Mishawaka, IN; daughter, Cassandra Latowski of St. Petersburg, FL; grandchildren, Kaitlynn, Jennifer, Isaac, Blake, Brayden, Khloe, Terra, and Christina; great-grandchild, Phoenix; former husband, John Latowski; and two brothers. Carol was a loving mother and grandmother. Her family was her whole world. She loved her dog RJ, but especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren doing arts and crafts, baking, cooking, playing cards, and going to movies. Visitation for Carol will be held on Monday, September 13, 2021 from 4-7 PM at the Palmer Funeral Home-Welsheimer North Chapel, 17033 Cleveland Rd., South Bend, IN 46635. Private burial will take place at a later date at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park in Granger, IN. Contributions in memory of Carol may be given to St. Margaret's House, 117 N.
