Mary Ninios
Services for Mary NINIOS, 65, of 1119 Pontiac St., will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Zimmerman Brothers Funeral Home, Rochester, with Father Nicholas PETROPOULAKOS officiating. Burial will be in the Rochester I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today, and on Saturday until time of services. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Mrs. Ninios died at 2 a.m. Thursday in Indianapolis Methodist Hospital after an illness of four months.
She was born March 2, 1918 in Trenton, N.J., to Evangelos and Anna KOUREA ATESSIS. She moved here from Chicago in 1949. She was married Sept. 19, 1949 in Chicago to Christ L. NINIOS, who died May 9, 1973. She and her husband owned and operated the former Berghoff Cafe in Rochester for many years. She was a member of the Rochester Women's Club and the Greek Orthodox Church, South Bend.
Surviving are a son, Louis NINIOS, Indianapolis, ad a brother, James ATESSIS, Houston, Texas. A sister preceded in death.
