[N3581] Lipowski, 44, of South Bend, passed away Thursday in Ironwood Health and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born on September 3, 1966, in South Bend, and lived in the area most of his life.
Leslie is survived by his mother, Linda Nemeth of Duke, MO; his father, Lonnie Lipowski of South Bend; his brother, Lee Lipowski of Angola, IN; his maternal grandmother, Elvira Nemeth of South Bend; and paternal grandmother, Nadine Vincent of Pompano Beach, FL; and by many cousins, aunts, uncles and extended family. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Leslie N. Nemeth; his uncle, Leslie F. Nemeth; and his paternal grandfather, Stanley Lipowski. Leslie loved music and watching sports of any kind, but especially loved Notre Dame football. He was especially close to his maternal grandparents. Funeral Services for Leslie will be held at 2 pm Monday December 6, 2010 in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, where friends may visit for one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery, South Bend.
