Mar. 24, 1926 - July 29, 2013 LAPORTE - Mr. Raymond P. "Pete" Hynek, 87, of LaPorte passed away at 6:33 am July 29, 2013 at his home. He was a self employed farmer, co-owner of Raymar Farms, owned Raymond P. Hynek Real Estate and was an Engineer Coordinator for Joy Manufacturing for 40 years. On February 18, 1949 in LaPorte he married Marian E. Jensen who survives. A Funeral Mass will be at 10 am on Thursday August 1, 2013 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in La Porte with Rev. Ian Williams officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday 3-8 pm with a prayer service at 6 pm and Thursday morning from 8:30-9:30 am at Essling Funeral Home. Burial with Military Honors will follow the Mass in Pine Lake Cemetery.
