Mary A. Wendowski, 93, of West Sample Street, South Bend, Ind., died at 4:10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, in the Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center. She was born Dec. 5, 1907, in S outh Bend, and was the daughter of Frank and Ann (Duszynski) Wendowski. Miss Wendowski was employed by the former Wilson Brothers/Opelika. She was a member of the Senior Citizens C lub, the Rosary Society, St. Ann's Society and the church choir, all of St. Casimir Catholic C hurch. Miss Wendowski is survived by five nieces, Jeanine Woolverton, Georgiane Fuentes, Denise Blanche, Melanie Adams, all of South Bend, and Laura Wendowski of Denver, Colo.; five nephews, James Gadacz and Phillip Wendowski, both of South Bend, Paul Wendowski of Columbus, Ind., Greg Wendowski of Osceola, Ind., and Matthew Wendowski of South B end; several great- and great-great-nieces and nephews; and by two sisters-in-law, Marian Wendowski and Clara Wendowski. She was preceded in death by her sisters and brothers, Irene, Louise, Helen, Modest and Ernest Wendowski, and Esther Gadacz. Family and friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday in the ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower R oad, where a R osary will be said at 3:30 p.m. Services will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday in St. Casimir Catholic Church, with burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
