While Louis did live most of his life in Mishawaka, Indiana, he also owned a farmhouse around 1920 or 1930 which burnt down while
the family was at church and I believe that nearly all of the family photographs were lost in the fire. The farmhouse was located on 40 acres of land on the south side of what is now Day Road and about a mile or so east of what is now Grape Road. This location is north of Mishawaka, St. Joseph County, Indiana.
.
In 1903 Louis married Lottie Glon in St. Stanislaus Kostka church in Terre Coupee, Indiana, near New Carlisle.
Among Louis's brothers were:
Victor Strantz who married Josephine C. Miller.
Frank Strantz who married Hattie Boinski.
Louis also had sisters:
Monica Strantz who married Frank E. Miller.
Angela "Nettie" Strantz who married Leo Taberski, Fred Dorman, and Harvey Shank.
