Karoline Lipinski
Mrs. Walter Lipinski, 423 South Pine street, died in her home at 9:50 a.m. Wednesday after three days' illness. Born in Poland Oct. 4, 1885, she had lived here for 28 years, coming to South Bend from Poland. Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Leon, South Bend, and Victor, Mishawaka, and four grandchildren. Friends may call after 5 p.m. today in St. Joseph funeral chapel. The funeral will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday in St. Mary of the Holy Rosary Polish National Catholic church with Rev. Stanley S. Gogul, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Highland cemetery. Published in the South Bend Tribune; Thursday, Dec. 27, 1951.
