Marlene Joy Sebasty, 84, of Buchanan, MI, passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at home surrounded by family. Marlene was born October 5, 1937 in Three Rivers, MI to the late Eleanor and Lyle Califf. On June 15, 1957, she married Jimmie Lee Sebasty. Marlene’s family was her life. She also loved her cat, Sugar. She is survived by her sons, Darle (Kitty) Sebasty, Mark (Barb) Sebasty, Michael (Pamela) Sebasty; daughter, Debra Haff; brother, Richard Califf; grandchildren, Matthew Sebasty, Mark Sebasty, Isaac Sebasty, Sarah Sebasty, Nicole Opizzo, Amy Sebasty, Melissa Swink, Joey Sebasty, Greg Sebasty, Alex Sebsty, Laura Lane, Melissa Larson, Christina Ringle; and many great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Eleanor and Lyle; husband, Jimmie; and brother, Dean Califf. Visitation will be held at 10 am on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan. Funeral service will begin at 12 pm. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Buchanan. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Niles First Church of God, 33180 Hwy.
