GEFRI - Fred J., 61, of Independence Township, at home, on Monday, Oct. 4, 2004. Born in Newark, he lived in Irvington before moving to Independence Twp. over 30 years ago. He is survived by a beloved wife of 36 years, Bernice Gefri (Hermann), two loving sons, Michael Thomas and his wife, Yvonne, Scott Allan and his wife, Tina, a loving daughter, Sandra Beth and her fiance, Robert Colfin, his cherished grandchildren, Nicholas, Jacob, Emily, Noah and Ryan Tyler, who was born on Oct. 5, 2004, and one sister, Judith Armbruster. Funeral services will be held from The SCALA MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 124 High St., Hackettstown, on Saturday, Oct. 9, 2004, at 9 a.m. Thence to St. Peter's and Paul R.C. Church, Great Meadows, where a 10 a.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated. Interment Pequest Union Cemetery, Great Meadows. Relatives and friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home on Friday.
