Steven A. Wujcikowski Sr., 66, residing in South Bend, Indiana, passed away Monday, March 12, 2019 at his residence. He was born to the late Stanley and Pearl (Borror) Wujcikowski on April 16, 1952 in Elkhart, Indiana. Steven served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. After the war, he worked as a die setter in metal stamping. On July 31, 1970 in Truman, Arkansas, he was united in marriage to Linda G. Hammons who preceded him in death on March 7, 2012. Steven is survived by two daughters, Barbara (Timothy) Respondek of South Bend and Connie Bailey of South Bend; his son, Steven Alan Wujcikowski Jr. of South Bend; eight grandchildren, James Ewing Jr., Seth Respondek, Breanna Respondek, Shyane Bailey, Joseph Bailey III, Jonathan Bailey, Alek James Wujcikowski, and Page Joy Wujcikowski; four great grandchildren, Cody Respondek Jr., Amelia Respondek, Alaina Respondek; and Jayce Gallegos; his sister Bonnie (John) Richardson, of South Bend; and his brother Edwin (Patricia) Wujcikowski, of South Bend. Funeral services for Steven will be held at 12:00 (noon) Monday, March 18, 2019 at Palmer Funeral Home - River Park Chapel, 2528 Mishawaka Avenue, South Bend. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, March 17, 2019 from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm and one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to Muscular Dystrophy Association, 314 Catalpa # F, Mishawaka IN 46545.Palmer funeral Home - River Park is assisting the family with arrangements.
