Mary Jo Irvine, 65, residing in Mishawaka, Indiana passed away at 9:00 PM Thursday, July 15, 2015 at her home. Mary Jo was born on June 10, 1950 in South Bend, IN to the late Walter Buszkiewicz and Clarice (Walbrouck) Buszkiewicz and has been a lifelong resident of this area, attending St. Bavo Catholic Elementary School and Marian High School. She attended Indiana University South Bend where she was certified as a Dental Assistant, and later was an instructor with the Ross Medical Education Center in Granger, Indiana. For 32 years she worked at the Dental Center, South Bend on LaSalle Ave. She also enjoyed working as a beautician for 10 years. Mary Jo was a member of the ZB Falcons Nest 80 in South Bend. Mary Jo enjoyed making quilts for her family and cooking. She also enjoyed reading books on her Kindle. On April 20, 1968 in South Bend, she was united in marriage to Michael Irvine, who survives. Along with her husband, Michael, she is also survived by her children, Kristi Lynn (Tom) Eash of Twin Falls, Idaho, Michael Irvine, Jr. (fiancé, Sara Kauffman) of Goshen, IN, and Tracey Davis (fiancé Julian Cephus) of Mishawaka, IN; ten grandchildren, Justin Eash, Zachary Irvine, Treven Irvine, Christopher Eash, Torri (TJ) Hufnagle, Hailey Davis, Danielle Davis, Brayden Davis, Courtney Irvine, and Madison Irvine; one great-granddaughter, Aubree Hufnagle; sisters, Barbara Wiegand of South Bend and Joan (Hank) Barrows of Canal Winchester, Ohio; sister-in-law, Lynn Irvine of Mishawaka; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Mary Jo was preceded in death by her two sisters, Judy Ringle and Barbara Crane.
Memorial services for Mary Jo Irvine will be at 1:00 PM Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Palmer Funeral Home - River Park Chapel, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend, IN 46615, where friends may gather with the family two hours prior to services, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
