Gary Lynn Harmon, age 73 of Granger, passed away Mon., June 13, 2022. Gary was born Jan. 30, 1949, in Knoxville, TN to the late Andrew Jackson and Dorothy Mae (Haun) Harmon. Gary was a graduate of Mishawaka High School, class of 1967, and graduated in 1972 with a B.S. from Indiana University. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mary Lou (Schumacher) Harmon of Granger, their daughters Kristen Harmon of South Bend and Alyson (Andrew) Gearhart of Richmond, VA. and 2 grandchildren, Jocelyn and Anderson Gearhart. His sister, Cheryl Smith, preceded him in death. Friends may visit with the Harmon family from 12pm-2pm Fri., June 17, 2022, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 52553 Fir Road, Granger, IN 46530. Immediately following visitation, a Mass of Christian burial will begin at 2:00 pm with Rev. William Schooler presiding. Gary will be laid to rest in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park in a private ceremony at a later date. Cruz Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with his arrangements.
