Willodean Franks, 70, of Mishawaka passed away February 2, 2018. Willodean was born December 24, 1947 to the late Ross and Frances Adams in Collinwood, Tennessee. Willodean was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She endlessly loved her family and gave unconditionally without regard for herself. She was the sweetest and most loving, giving person. She will be missed immensely by her family and friends. She made a career of working as a cook for over 20 years at John Young Jr. High School for the School City of Mishawaka. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Joe Franks, Sr.; children Joe (Kristen) Franks, Jr., Steven Franks, Melissa (Brad) Schneider; 5 grandchildren; sister Brenda Marie Melson; brother Jerry "Hoyt" Adams; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by seven other siblings.
A private family service will be held on Tuesday, February 6th in Hahn Funeral Home in Mishawaka
Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery Mishawaka.
