South Bend - Patricia A. Wawrzyniak, 82, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 surrounded by her family. Pat was born April 10, 1937 in Ladysmith, Wisconsin. On June 9, 1956 Pat married Ernest Wawrzyniak, he survives along with their children Daniel (Linda) Wawrzyniak & Michael (Carla) Wawrzyniak; 7 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Stanley & Margaret (Potter) Skowera. Pat was a parishioner of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church since 1958 where she was the major contact for the Prayer Chain and did volunteer work. Pat was also a member of the Chain-o-Lakes Conservation Club and Bowlers Country Club. She enjoyed working outside, birds, and fishing. She and Ernest enjoyed traveling to Ocean Isle, NC and went many times. Most of all she loved her family & grandchildren and was excited to attend all of their sporting events. Visitation for Pat will be 8:30 am to 10:30 am Monday, July 22, 2019 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 am in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Garden Cemetery.
