Mrs Urszula Zalewski, aged 71 of 2422 West Poland street, died at 5:15 am today, at her home, after a five-month illness. Born in Poland Oct 20, 1876, she came to South Bend 45 years ago. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs Stella Cholewczynski, Mrs Frances Kowalik and Mrs Sophie Celichowski, all of South Bend; a sister, Mrs Catherine Graczyk, in Poland; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 10am Monday in St. Adelbert's Catholic church with Rev Ignatius J. Gapcaynski, pastor, officiating. Burial at St. Joseph Polish cemetery. Mrs Zalewski was a member of the Women's Holy Rosary Society of St. Adelbert's church. South Bend Tribune, March 18, 1948
