Dorothy was born on September 1, 1927, in South Bend, to the late Alexander Rzeszewski and Frances (Mezykowski) Hufford. On October 9, 1948, she married Joseph S. For those who are unable to attend the funeral liturgy, condolences for the family may be made at www.sjfh.net. Our Mother Was the most caring and thoughtful person one could ever imagine. One who always smiled and said she was fine even when she was in pain. One who always was there for someone when others would shut the door. One who was always brave when others would give up. One who never complained when others would ask "why me?" She wanted to thank her neighbors who looked after her and Healthwin for the special friends and care she received. Our mother will be missed dearly but certainly not forgotten. She will be cherished in our hearts forever. We pray you take our mother gently in your arms, Lord, as we believe she has passed her test in her life's rough journey. - Her Loving Children.
