MISHAWAKA - Jennie D. Rogers, 97, passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Tanglewood Trace.Jennie was born August 20, 1920 in Mishawaka, IN to Stanley and Mary Gornik. On April 17, 1948 in St. Bavo Catholic Church, Jennie married Joseph F. Rogers; he preceded her in death on March 28, 2010. Survivors of Jennie include a cousin, Henry (Rose) Vrielynck of Granger, and many great- and great-great-nieces & nephews. Jennie worked as a brake assembler for the Bendix /Honeywell for many years. She was a parishioner of Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Visitation for Jennie will be held 11:00 am to 12:00 pm Wednesday, January 31, 2018 in Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 2817 Corpus Christi Dr., South Bend. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12 pm at the church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
