Jan. 18, 2013 SOUTH BEND - Gerald Bernard "Jerry" Chachulski, 76, of Grand Rapids, Mich., passed away Friday, January 18, 2013. Born in South Bend, he is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Beverly (Carlson); daughters, Leigh Ann and Caryn (Matt Cowall); granddaughter, Margaret; and sisters, Patricia Skudlarek and Diane Hahaj of South Bend. Memorial services in Grand Rapids c/o the Metcalf & Jonkhoff Funeral Home.

Gerald Bernard "Jerry" Chachulski, 76, of Grand Rapids, passed away Friday, January 18, 2013. Born May 15, 1936, in South Bend, Ind., he loved food, fishing, reading, music and most of all his family. Survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Beverly (Carlson); daughters, Leigh Ann of Grand Rapids and Caryn (Matt Cowall) of Traverse City; granddaughter, Margaret; and sisters, Patricia Skudlarek and Diane Hahaj of South Bend. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 26 at 1 p.m. at Metcalf & Jonkhoff Funeral Home. The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, January 25 from 4-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to a charity of your choice .
